I&M Apartment
Design of a flat for a family of four
Interior design of an apartment with an area of 120 m2 for a couple with two children. The theme of the project was to combine two adjacent flats to meet the expectations of a family of four. After preparing seven different versions of the functional system, investors chose the best layout for their rooms. The apartment has a living room with a separate kitchen, two bathrooms, three bedrooms (including one with its own dressing room), a study room and a second wardrobe.
In the apartment intended for renovation, the layout of partition walls, electrical points, sanitary installations, etc. was laid out from scratch. In the hall, by painting gray three walls and the ceiling, a communication zone was set up, here a hidden door was designed in the same color as the walls.
The layout of the cabinets in the kitchen has been slightly changed, on the right side high-rise buildings, on the left a series of furniture with a worktop. Some of the cabinets are to be made of walnut veneer, part painted in gray, the contrast is a black table top and side-wall panels made of the same material.
Stucco belts have been designed in the living room on the opposite walls. The wooden bleached oak floor harmonises with walnut-colored furniture, a burgundy sofa and flesh-colored accessories.
The bedroom has a similar color scheme with a built-in wall above the bed under which LED lighting is hidden. Behind the bed, part of the wall is to be lined with a mirror.
The smaller of the bathrooms, bordering the living room, was designed in gray colors with tiles imitating stone, here we also have black accessories and walnut-colored furniture that harmonize with other rooms in the day zone.
